I was hesitant on purchasing this or anything else from Rubie’s because of the poor reviews. For an unknown reason, the mask has scratches all over it on the top of the head. I found nothing else wrong with it in that I bought it for my boyfriend for this upcoming Halloween 2013 so it shall work for 1 night I suppose. I normally do not buy costumes from Rubie’s because she has ridiculously expensive prices for poor quality-made costumes. But since I could not find this anywhere else, I hadddd to buy it from Rubie’s.

Let me say this to start. I like it. the only thing that is keeping me from giving it a 5 star is the fact that it had lost SOME shape, most likely from sitting in a bag for an extended amount of time. I rolled some old shirts and stuffed them in it to help retain the shape, and it’s been doing fine. it did have some yellow fading as if it had been in a window or something, but it a way it game it a little more of that sinister look. AND like most of the other reviews, there was some touch of color that would be needed if you were that OCD.. .but it truly isn’t that bad. I quite like this mask, it pulls together my costume very nicely… (bank robber) and is a head turner!!! for the price, you will love it!

This is a pretty nice mask, looks very similar to the mask from the movie. Some of the details could be a little better.* One of the nostrils needed to be trimmed because there was excess material around it.* The colors are a bit lighter than what they appear to be on the website. Some of the red is almost pink.* It appears that they applied white paint to mask and there are some paint drips on one of the eyebrows. It looks like…well, it looks like someone dripped paint on the mask.* It comes folded up and when you first put it on the ears are creased, there are creases all over the face. I stuffed it full of paper (which they recommend for storage) & let it sit for a couple of days. Looks good now although one ear is still a little funky.Overall, I would buy it again for the price I paid.

The Mask is Okay. I received it and it was smashed flat so i stretched it and tried molding it back into shape. The hardest was getting the crease in the middle to disappear. The paint looks nothing like the pic it was done very poorly. I ordered some sharpis and tried to color in the best i could being i was under the gun because of a Video shoot i was using this in it was less than perfect. The white part was aslo poorly done the latex color was evident everywhere. I didn’t have any white paint so i dealt with it. Overall i wouldn’t buy it again because who needs two of these unless you’re robbing a bank.

This is a good product for the money. Yea like most of the reviews state its a pretty big mask and the paint isn’t as good looking as in this picture. However even with those downfalls Id say its still worth the buy. Since its a mask you cant really tell that it is overly big. What I did was fill it with grocery bags to help keep its form. Also you can touch up the paint if your perfectionist, no big deal. If you want a high quality mask then you gotta pay for one. But this is a pretty good deal for the quality. Also the material feels Rubbery/ latex.

I’m not incredibly picky so to me this mask is great. No, it doesn’t look EXACTLY like the one in the dark night (as expected, it’s a latex mask made in china not Hollywood) at first I would have agreed with some of the other reviews on here. Fresh out of the box it was a little deformed and I was skeptical, but if you pop the eyes into shape and play with it for a bit, you can get it back into shape. There was a dent on the nose that I couldn’t quite fix so I heated it up and pressed from the inside and that seemed to do the trick. If you aren’t willing to mess with it upon arrival then it might not be for you. But for the money I recommend giving it a try. I love mine and if you don’t enjoy yours you can always return it.

Mask was pretty large and was pretty out of shape.I wore it for a halloween gig and it was hard to wear because it was so large. I ended up taking it off after a while. It was also out of shape. I tried to use a blow dryer to heat it and get it into place but that didn’t really work either. It “worked” but not super well.

It’s totally mis shaped and you cannot return it. Don’t buy
