I love Batman, especially The Dark Knight. So, I decided on a casual Batman Halloween costume this year.Now, the mask is awesome. No doubt about that. I feel that it is well-made with a great mold, and feels very sturdy for a mask that’s less than $15, with cape. However, the way the mask was molded, it would perhaps better fit people with more masculine, angular face shapes. As for me, I have quite a round face, so the mask felt tight, especially around the eyes–it felt like it was digging into my sockets. So, a cheap modification: I Scotch-taped cotton balls on the inside of the mask (One left cheek, one right cheek, and two on the forehead) and BOOM–it fits comfortably with the buffer between face and mask.Next, the cape. It covers my shoulders, it’s lightweight, and a perfect length for a *very* short person like myself (Measures about 46 inches long and it goes past my knees). However, it does feel flimsy, so I’d just be careful when running around fighting crime in it. It’s a pretty snug fit when clasped around my neck, might need some breaking in. If your neck is thicker than 15 inches, you may need to modify the cape, or try to tuck it somehow at the neckline of your shirt/costume. The cape closes with a small velcro hook-and-loop attachment. I really would have preferred some type of cordage to tie the cape instead, but I guess they went for a streamlined look, which does make it look nicer.A word of caution, make sure the Velcro points are always stuck together, whether in use or not. The Velcro “hook” side stuck to the outside part of the cape accidentally, so I pulled it off and some strands came loose. I cut the strands and it’s not noticeable, so it could have been worse.A cost-effective Batman costume, just add your favorite Batman shirt. And now I can wear a Batman mask all year round!

The mask is an excellent hard plastic mask. Tho one tends to sweat underneath it, it is grade plastic, but still a little flexible. It is a half-head coverage mask, meaning it covers your face but does not cover the entire head. I am a 6′, 245 lb dude and the mask was perfect for my somewhat chubby face. The cape on the other hand…meh.I mean it is a decent material, but the length leaves something to be desired. As a 6′ tall man, the cape barely came down to the top of my knees. But I kinda knew that it would be about 4′ long from some of the reviews. It was an OK length just wish it was more like 5′ long and down to the calves. That would be more true to the Batman persona. All in all, I like it pretty well. It was a hit with some little kids as I was involved in a 5k Walk/Run. I wore it with a Dark Knight Jumpsuit and it worked well together.

Awesome costume for the money. Cape is thin, but sturdy and comes with a Velcro attachment to hold it in place. Cape covers the shoulders and is cut in a design that fits the Dark Knight. Mask is really well made, great quality and rad design. The only complaint is that the foam inset glued on the inside of the mask to pad your face doesn’t lie right. It was a quick fix with a snip of the scissors to cut it the shape of my nose and it was great! Recommend.

I could’ve easily given this 5 stars for what it is, a plastic mask and a short bat cape with Velcro fasteners. It looks great, it’s very sturdy for a plastic mask, and it has a comfortable pad for your forehead.It’s obviously not comparable to a much more expensive full cowl or a complete Batman costume, but to have a little fun at a kids party, it’s everything you need. Especially at this price.

I bought this purely for decoration. It is hanging on the staircase up to the man cave next to my superman cape. I wish the head gear was fuller in size and the cape was a little bit longer. It gets the look I wanted and I do get compliments on them. Not bad for the price

My package arrived and I was extremely disappointed after only pulling out the mask. In the title it clearly states the mask and cape set. However, I only received the mask. Now I will have to go out and buy one separately.
