I bought this item to do makeup for Beetlejuice this past Halloween. As I mentioned in the title, this kit is great for a starter/base for any Beetlejuice. Some green makeup with a brush/sponge is needed for the moss around Beetlejuice’s head, and to make the effect really pop, apply a couple layers of Liquid Latex using a sponge to dab it on allowing a few minutes inbetween to dry. The tooth wax created an awesome effect when paired with “Zombie Tooth Paint” making my teeth look horrible. This kit would be perfect if came with green makeup and liquid latex. For the price and contents, 4 stars.

The face cream was very poor quality and the container was so thin it burst in transit.The tooth wax was also low quality and falls off quickly. I didn’t try the makeup stick.As part of the Beetlejuice costume you really need the tooth wax, everyone commented on that part, but you may want to look for a better option.I purchased a white and green face cream and multi colored makeup sticks from Michaels which were much better quality and just used the tooth wax from this kit which made it pretty poor value.

This kit is a decent starter, however Beetlejuice is very multidimensional in terms of costume makeup and, if you are looking for a high-quality costume appearance, I would definitely suggest looking elsewhere for backup supplies. There are purple tones as well as (obviously) green. Do yourself a big favor and look at some of the SUPER simple YouTube tutorials that are out there. A little extra money and a little extra work can really complete this look for you!

White makeup was really easy to use. I patted it on using a makeup sponge, waited a few minutes for it to dry, then put black around my eyes with some other makeup I had. I didn’t use black crayon, but did use teeth wax. That worked a lot better than I expected! It didn’t take much to do my teeth. And it stayed on throughout the evening, which surprised me. I removed the makeup with some moist makeup wipes; it came off easily. The tooth wax was tougher to remove, but I got it off with several dry tissues, then some dental floss. Overall – a good product.

This costume could not fit my 11-year-old the bottoms are very tight so if you’re thinking for an adult costume this is not the one although it is a very nice costume

Make-up was easy to apply and it last for the entire day. When it was time to remove just a simple wash and we are back to normal.
