   Decent quality for a costume. Better than most of the ones found in department stores, but that really isn’t saying a lot. The brown straps are a bit of a question. They attach halter style behind the neck with Velcro. I tacked them down in the back to get the proper look in the front but sincerely what the heck?? Also, the white top is a bit too thin so you’ll need some kind of under top and tights too if your child is tall because it comes well above the knee. I got the medium for an average sized six year old and it looks fine with tights. Additionally, the apron is only attached at the sides. So I also tacked them in place and now the outfit looks like the picture. Sadly, this happens often when I buy costumes and it irritates me. If I wanted to sew I wouldn’t buy a costume. But, overall with some work the costume is cute and will work well for storybook day at school.

   The costume is cute and the quality is okay but the sizing is way off, as others have said. Because I read that it runs small, I ordered my daughter the kids large. When I got it I was surprised to find it to be so large so I ordered the medium, expecting it to be a good fit based on the sizing for the large. When I got the medium I was dismayed to find that the medium was in reality about 3 sizes smaller than the large! If the medium was truly one size smaller it would have been perfect. They need to make an in between size. The medium is like a 5/6 kids and the large is like a 12. You can see the comparison and how they fit my daughter in the pics. My daughter is almost 8, 49” tall and fills out a typical size 8. I rarely write reviews but this was so exasperating i had to. I don’t like the way the large hangs on her but we had to return the medium because it’s too tight. I will probably have to alter the large to make it look nice for her Girl Scouts international event.

   My granddaughter wears a size 10, and is very slim. I selected a medium, which is supposedly size 8-10, and I considered her weight in choosing this size, rather than the size of clothes she normally wears. It stretches to fit, but is very short waisted and the skirt is very short. I then had to order a large, which is listed as a size 12-14. I’d say this is more like a size 12 than a 14. A general statement that this costume runs small would be helpful. Listing a size range is deceptive.

   Bought the smallest size for a 2 year old and it fit her perfectly. The lacing at the top is very cheaply made, this won’t last more than 1 wear with a toddler but we only needed it one time. Cant really expect anymore at the price.

   This costume is super cute and seems to be made well, but it runs small. I ordered my daughter the small, 4-6. She just turned 4 and wears 4T so I was expecting it to be big on her, but it just fits and is really short.

   I got this for my 5 yr old granddaughter to wear to a live musical of The Sound of Music. She literally stold the show! There was a meet and greet after the performance. Cast members came up to her to tell her how they enjoyed her costume and dancing.
