   I didn’t realize these lit up with a battery pack. I guess I didn’t read the description close enough. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this rope has lights run through the inside of the rope. However, 3 of these lights had poked out through the rope fabric. This is really cheaply made, but for the price it’s good, and at night you won’t be able to tell that the lights are poking out. My daughter likes it for her costume.

   I’m not sure what others received that gave this high marks but mine was cheaply made and broken. I know that this didn’t cost a lot but I’m really tired of getting stuff poorly made or broken stuff. On the one I received the fiber braiding around the lights is really cheap and reminds me of fiber around some electrical cords. The fiber was held to the handle with a drop of glue so it shouldn’t be a surprise to the seller that it didn’t hold to the handle in shipping (see picture attached). The end of the lasso was fused together with heat so that the fiber wouldn’t unravel (see picture attached) which makes it look like it was made at home. I didn’t even remove the battery protector to see if the lights worked. If you do choose to still purchase this item it is not big enough for an adult and I wouldn’t give it to a child because of safety issues. I feel strong enough about this item that I have attached pictures to my review which may be the first time EVER for me.One other note I purchased this from Blockbuster Costumes and when I requested a refund I received 2 pages of ifs, ands and buts to get a refund. It includes “we ask our customers to understand that once an item has shipped, there has been money spent on the transaction”. If you want a full refund without being assessed a 20% restocking fee along with shipping & handling fees you have to prove to them that the item was broken. Although I followed their rules I’m not expecting much when you consider the price that I paid against their 20% restocking free, shipping and handling but I’m on a quest to stop receiving poorly made items.

   Was a nice touch to complete a Halloween costume. I tied it around my waist and tucked the handle in so it would not move. However, I had to use a pin to tighten up the gold Velcro that is supposed to hold it in place. There is too much space between the velcro and where the rope is held, so the rope would unravel and fall to the floor. Once pinned, it stayed put. The light up action was cool.

   Lasso has three blink light patterns. Lasso had one light that wants to slip through the net “rope” and netting is not super secure. Might want to secure with tape near handle. Manufacturer errors only. Seller is fine. Shipping good.

   The package was open, and the rope was all messed up like someone took it out and couldn’t figure out how to get it back in… the tab you pull for the lights to work is still in. Place so I’m hoping it will work ok when the time comes to use it

   It’s nice but it does feel fragile. The battery en is heavy so it does fall out of the loop and i had to keep securing it. Other than that it is good.

   Good product, it’s fragile but good for kids to play with on birthdays or Halloween. Only wish the light was brighter.
