Corset was a standard size, and fit me okay after adjusting all the ribbons. I was not expecting the front and back to be a lace up style, very hard to adjust by yourself. The neck is also a halter style with a tie. The company itself was a pleasure to do business from, my costume arrived within just a few business days, there was a defect in my original costume and they shipped me a replacement without much of a wait time. I would order from Blockbuster Costumes again.

I liked the idea of the costume but It was just too large everywhere

I bought this for a German party that my German sister-in-law was throwing. I read the other reviews and noted that most people felt it ran small, so while I would normally order a size Medium, I ordered a Large. I had to pin the top as it’s made for a very busty. Even my other sister-in-law tried it on (who has a D cup) also found it to be too large in this area. Nonetheless, it looked fine with a few pins and some creative stitching of the corset. The bummer was that because it’s completely soft and has no structure or support like a real corset would, every time I sat up or down it would bunch, so I ended-up fussing with it a lot which was annoying.

As others commented, the bust was a weird fit. Due to the tie around the neck, the top didn’t fit well, sort of popped out when you moved. If I had time, would have tacked the sides in, but just wore a strapless bra that covered well. Overall, I was happy with the top. The fabric was stretchy, fit well other than chest area. I was surprised that it was so open in the back, it did have to be laced up (tough to do on your own) and shoulder blades exposed. Wore it with skinny black jeans and boots, was a cute costume.

I really liked it! Except For it says 1 size fits all… it ended up being too wide for my waist and too short. I kept having to pull down.

The white ruffled part of the top is pretty small if you have a larger chest. It does have padding inside which enabled me to go without a bra, which you kind of need to because it’s low in the back. The black corset part is very stretchy and this means that when you tighten the lacing front and back, it causes the top to bunch up in the back. It looked okay for the Oktoberfest party I wore it to, but before I left the house the seam was already coming apart and within an hour the right sleeve had come apart too. I can’t wear it again and because it fell apart I can’t even return it. There are other better made costumes for this price and it’s very cheaply made. Would not recommend.

Before getting out of the house, the material started coming undone. The bust area was too large and needed to be pinned. The “boning” kept poking through the bottom and coming out. Not happy at all. Returning it for a refund.

I knew it would run too small but I tried it anyways. My girls don’t fit but if you’re on the smaller side this would be perfect!
