   I ordered this mask in May 2010. We had a Phantom of the Opera-themed party, and one of my friends planned to dress up as the Phantom. The photo of this particular mask makes it look really cool, but, much to our disappointment, it wasn’t that good at all.First of all, you can’t see it in the photo, but the mask is not attached to the face by an elastic cord but rather by an awkward, black, plastic band that’s difficult to adjust. The mask also did not seem to fit my friend’s face at all, and we couldn’t tell whether this was due to damage or to the mask’s actual design. I don’t think it was damaged, just cheap plastic. It stayed on his head, but it stuck out weirdly from his face, and he said it was uncomfortable. Trying to warp the plastic into the shape we wanted did not work either. After a few tries, we just gave up, and my friend ended up wearing a simple, regular mask we got at a party store for a few dollars.While this mask was not very expensive, and it did arrive on time, it ended up being totally useless. I wouldn’t recommend buying this.

   I received this mask and was pleasantly surprised it arrived so clean and such a great quality !!! The price is right and it looks great !!!!

   My husband bought this for a party we were attending. The half-mask is nice, but like many similar items it takes some work to get the mask comfortably situated and to stay–on-place.

   The plastic that makes up the mask is very strong, as is the clip think that holds it on your head. However, there is a fabric trim throughout the mask that is falling off due to poor glue. I would recommend this mask if you are only going to use it a few times.

   won’t fit around medium sized head, not adjustable. Barret style headband would be comfortable if I could get it over my skull, but even if I could I imagine it would be then too loose. should have some adjustable or elastic component

   I originally bought this for my father-in-law for a masquerade party. Although the roped edging is clearly pictured, it looks much more feminine (almost frilly) in person, so I ended up using it myself. The mask sits on a headband (adding further to the more feminine feel of the mask), which allows the wearer to lift the mask easily so that the user can flip between wearing on the face and wearing it on top of the head. While it can sit on the top of the head comfortably, unfortunately it seems that the mask was designed more for that purpose than for actually wearing it on the face. The mask was overly large and sits rather awkwardly on the face, about a 1/2″ away. Given the size of the mask, I didn’t really think it looked like a Phantom of the Opera type mask, but more of a Twilight Zone type mask.

   I love my phantom mask, but if you have a small face like I, it likes to sit far from you’re face not being able too see you’re eye, other then that the headband blinds great to my hair and the mask itself is such high Quality better then most mask I’ve seen Out there, I’ve used this for a show and it was great!

   It is a bit large for my face, but then again, I don’t intend on wearing it. I bought the mask for collectibility and decoration. It’s definitely a great addition to my Phantom mask collection.
