This costume is nicer than I expected. I’ve bought store-made costumes before, and they’re cheap and not well made. This one is actually better than most.There’s a white dress to wear under the cape, which I didn’t realize when I ordered it. I think this will create a better overall effect than I originally thought. I was worried about finding all white to wear underneath it. The dress is much too long for me – I’m 5’4″, but I’ll just tack it up so I can walk.The cape is made of netting so that it flows nicely when I move and doesn’t drag like a heavier cape would. There are also extra strips of material in the front so that I can use my arms without opening the cape and hurting the overall effect.All in all, I’m glad I chose this costume and will probably use it for years to come.

I bought this for a girl playing the Spirit of Christmas Past in a high school play of “A Christmas Carol.” It made for a nice appearance onstage, very large and noticeable. I like the hood and the long tail that made it look really big. I will say that the gauzy, see-through material should be worked with so the white gown underneath is clearly visible. Otherwise, you’ll just look like you’re walking around in a big net. With the right accessories and a little self-designing, this makes a great costume for any ghostly female character, and the price isn’t bad compared to a few similar costumes I looked at. I was very happy with it.

This is quite long. I am 5′ 5′ and it drags a lot. Which looks cool. The net is in 3 pieces – back, front left and front right. As you walk, it doesn’t stay in front like in the photo. The two narrow bits in the front don’t stay put. We fixed this with a couple tiny knots of white thread. (You can use safety pins too) I would also bobby pin the hood to the top of the head. It is totally see-through. You need a white dress underneath.If the cape is to long (like you will walk a lot) then it is netting so you can just cut it, no hem needed.

I returned this product. I’m a petite 5’1″ and I should know not to buy it reading the reviews. I just wanted to see it for myself and the Free Return really helped the decision. But alas, it was really really big on me. I give it 4 stars because it is not the product’s fault. The outfit can accommodate up to Size 14-16, and that’s just too big of a range.I looked like a big cloud! I was going for the light, ethereal, floaty ghost look; I wasn’t going for fat, floaty cloud look. The hood encircled my tiny head, making it like twice the size. I don’t think cutting the material will save me. I don’t feel confident cutting a $30 piece myself, so I decided to return it.Really wish it had worked out for me.

I was VERY skeptical when I purchased this… I thought, there is no way that cape is that long! I wanted it so badly that it would drag on the floor when I walk. I am 5’4″ and YES… the cape is long… it will drag on the floor with no heels. I am assuming that I can still wear a 6 inch heels and it will still touch the floor, but not drag on the floor. It’s beautiful in person…. I just have to figure out how to get the wrinkles out. I was also worried that the hood part of the cape wasn’t going to look like the picture. I thought it was going to be small and snug… but it’s not! It’s exactly how the picture is…As far as the dress… I didn’t buy this for the dress, so I can’t give you a comment whether I like it or not since I’m not planning to wear the dress at all.

This outfit worked great with my husband costume. He was the Jaccob Marley and I was the ghost of Christmas past.My face was also painted ghostly and I wore a whitish grey wig. I wore a all white dress. There is one included with this cloak.I got the size 16/18 and it was a great fit besides being too long. I trimmed some off the bottom and it worked out great.We wore the costumes to his work Christmas party in which there was a Christmas movie costume contest.We won 2nd Place!!

I was looking for a hounted mansion costume and this fit the bill!I was very happy with the overall look. The quality is reasonable for a costume and I am very happy with my purchase. I would suggest using bobby pins to attach the hood to your hair as it losines some of the cuteness when the costume.
