Image: […]After reading the reviews, I was a little anxious about this costume. However, when it arrived, I was thrilled!This package arrived a little over a week after I ordered it. Living in Australia, I am used to waiting over a month to receive most packages that I order from the USA, so I was pleased at that. It arrived in one of those costume bags you see mass-made costumes in stores come in. It was packaged inside neatly, wrapped in either plastic or light paper.I’m about 170cm tall, weighing 65kg, and a D cup, so I ordered a medium. The pants ran a little large, and end above my ankles, but if worn with boots, you won’t notice it. The crotch hangs low, but that can easily be remedied by rolling the waistband up. The top fit perfectly! It gives enough room to comfortably move around in it without being in constant fear of ripping it.The gloves were a little too small, some of the stitching around the finger-holes came undone, but that can be fixed with a little elastic thread, to allow it more give. The top band of the gloves was a little tight, but that’s necessary in order to keep them from slipping down.The belt came great, and fit perfect, however, the choker is a little tight, and when I put my head down, the buckle digs uncomfortably into my windpipe. When I unwrapped it, a little of the faux leather stuck to the buckle. Will probably be replacing this.The pants ARE a different colour to the top, but this is unavoidable, and doesn’t look too horrible, seeing as they are of different materials.Overall, this costume is great for it’s low price. If you want a top quality costume for Cosplaying, then don’t be cheap. You’re going to need to spend more than $50, sorry.

I am giving this costume only three stars because I’m dissatisfied by the condition it arrived in. I ordered from Best Costumes & Toy Deals. I scoured the reviews and other reviews from different stores, and knew what I was getting into. I read about the upper half being pleather and the lower half being polyester spandex that the legs were too short on, but honestly the pants don’t matter much if you’re planning on wearing tall boots. It was a good costume but there were some issues I’m hoping to iron out with this reviewPros: it was a fairly good costume, from other reviews, I knew what to expect. I ordered a large but I could’ve gotten a medium. I’m 5’4″ and carry all my weight in my boobs, butt, and thighs. Please DO NOT order by using the size chart provided. It’s off by a whole size range. I looked on party city’s website and a medium was more my size (I wear a size 10)Cons: the package did NOT come as described. The condition stated was new and as it may have been new from this marketplace it had obviously come from a Halloween store that had shut down for the season that the seller had gotten for a discounted price. Which is fine, I don’t mind a middleman, but you have to sell as is then. The paper in the costume bag that has the description and picture on it was all wrinkled and torn, the bag was all cloudy and dingy, and the costume was literally wadded up and thrown into the bag. The belt had crease marks on it like someone had worn it and had bent over or moved around A LOT in it.Be forearmed, that the top is a pleather fabric while the pants are a stretchy spandex and were very short. The choker was tight on my neck and the gloves are as everyone says. They look like a four year old cut them and are stitched too small.So overall it was a good costume but you definitely get what you paid for and GO A SIZE DOWN or look on partycity.com for the real size charts. I’m really bummed because I was excited about wearing it but I’ll spend the money to buy new from the store.

So I’ll start by saying I wore this to comic con and got SO many compliments. This was my first cosplay- and I wanted to look like I knew what I was doing even though in reality I didn’t. I’m going to break down this review into different parts for better reference and I’ll be as real as I can be.Sizing:I’m about 5ft tall and am pretty slim with a decent amount on top (got it? got it.) I got a size small and the costume definitely needed alternations! I’ve never sewn before- but this costume needed taking in BADLY because I’m pretty thin. I had to take in the gloves and pants more than 3 inches! So fair warning- if your thin- you’ll need to fix this up if you don’t want to look like a clown (no pun intended haha). The length however I had no problems with thankfully! The top ran incredibly small for me. I’d say if your an A cup you’ll be okay, but if youre pushing a B-Cup or C-Cup be warned. I found myself squeeeeezzzing into this. Thankfully I didnt break the material- but it felt like I would. The gloves are HUGE and frankly unappealing aesthetically. They are thick and foam padded- I’ve advise to find alternative gloves.Material/Comfort: While I’m sure most of you know, I’ll make this totally clear. The material is not that stretchy. You have been forewarned- sizing is a must haha. While I found the material decently breathable – the foam parts in the top and gloves kill. They are really insulated and I got hot ALOT. (Granted I live in florida so its always terrible in costume outside). As a matter of fact the gloves are so bulky and hot that you may as well just toss them. I found myself putting up my pants CONSTANTLY. Even with alterations. Even with the waistband in the pants (which honestly serves no real purpose because its not a true waistband. Maybe its the material? All I know is walking up stair was a pain and bending/sitting was nearly impossible because of how low cut the pants were. Regardless, I managed. All the accessories have velcro and stay just fine and looked pretty good even as a cheap costume set. (Not if your a professional cosplayer- but pretty damn OKAY).Notations: Be advised the costume does not come with boots/bootcovers and the pants do NOT have pockets. Just to be clear.Overall I am beyond glad I made the choice to purchase this. I constantly had people coming up to me asking to take photos and quite a few people said I was one of the better Harley’s theyde seen (although I had makeup/wig/personality help). I got a TON of compliments on my costume and it was worth the small issues I had and the time I put into alterations because the costume was SO cheap. I think in total I spent less than $50 on my cosplay. That’s unheard of for one that turned out so well put together.If you want a cheap costume to make a big impression and don’t mind doing a little work on your end- get this costume. I’ll admit however next time I will search for other avenues simply because of the sizing issues and pants malfunction but for the money it was worth the hassle.
