Mask looked good. However whoever painted it didn’t put a lot of attention to detail in it. However my wife purchased some acrylic paint from Walmart ($2) and touched it up a bit and made it AWESOME! She touched up the lips, eyebrows, nose and ears. She then proceeded to add paint to the teeth to make it look like the teeth have dried blood on them as well as added a bit of red to the cheeks. She also used hairspray to make the hair frizzy like in the movie. All of this you can see in the pictures (before and after). She also added some padding inside to make it fit better. All in all it’s a good product, but my wife made it better.

Most people really don’t have a head that would fit inside of this mask. Its huge. I had it professionally brought to life by a mask maker by adding personal touches as you may see and he added 3 pieces of foam as filler in the mask that were about 1 1/2 inches thick. You also need to put it on a mannequin head to smooth out the rough spots like dents and creases. Not very good packaging. I would put it on a mannequin head in a hot-ish area. But other than that it is a pretty solid mask and definitely spot on. I colored around my eyes with eyeliner to black out my skin, looks way better. Or you can use white or blue. Whatever you want.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to use for my boyfriend’s Halloween costume this year. It is the closest thing you are going to get to in terms of quality and likeness to the character. My only wish is that they would send it with an air pack or stuffing at the top of the mask, but this can be remedied by using a hair dryer to smooth out the wrinkles. You can use latex paint to add blood to the teeth. I did as well and drew more on the eyebrows, and I fluffed out the hair and sprayed it with “It” Brand hairspray LOL. I just happened to have this hairspray, but it works very well. Hairspray is just essentially spray glue for your hair so this is excellent to keep the wig very fluffed up throughout the night. Since this mask seems to be way too big for most people, you can use rubber cement to glue foam padding inside the mask but this is a permanent option. If you don’t have time for all that, you can also stuff the top with grocery bags and then wear it that way, but this will make the mask more hot to wear if you are planning on wearing the mask all night. I’ve worn a lot of masks over the years and they can get very hot. Overall a great mask, and I also ordered the Pennywise clown costume from Amazon, and the mask that it comes with is ridiculous looking, so if you want a complete decent Pennywise costume I would purchase both this mask and the clown costume.

This Pennywise mask does run a little bit large (upper head and forehead area). I went with the wife to Hobby Lobby on one of her trips and got a few ideas. I used a styrofoam half bowl to fill the tall head. The fit was snug, but the look and scares were great! I had a brilliant idea while still in the store and grabbed a styrofoam head as well so I could use a warm (not hot) blow dryer to get any wrinkles out from shipping … and then I was reminded of the head in the fridge scene! If only I had found eyes in time (added a scream kit) … but we sat back and had a great time thanks to the mask’s greatness!You might put some holes in the smile for air, it otherwise gets pretty warm in there unless you are out and about. Enjoy!

So I had read the reviews about how it was too big and I would have to agree. Definitely made for an adult but I am extremely pleased with it. Still has a couple of dents I’m hoping before the mask goes back to its original state after taking it out of the package but other than that, it fits well; although, I mainly bought it to use as a decoration. So I used a few thumbtacks and it has made quite a scary presentation so far this year.

This mask is worth every penny!!! I use my masks for display purposes only so I can’t offer any insight on how comfortable it is to actually wear. As far as realistic looks, value for the money and condition it is AWESOME! I mounted it on a Styrofoam head from Hobby Lobby(leaving the plastic on head so it won’t dry out the mask) and I added the eyeballs also which I got off Amazon. It looks creepy just like it should. Extremely pleased with this mask.
