This Freddy Krueger glove is the official reproduction form A Nightmare on Elm Street. It is made of mostly plastic, but fortunately has a quality real glove included. For the price, I was expecting something a little better though. There are many instructions online for creating your own bladed gauntlets like Freddy’s out of house hold materials. If I weren’t lazy and lacking time, I wouldn’t created it myself from cardboard and plastic.PROS:Quality glove, plastics.Convincing replica in indirect light or from afar.CONS:The blades are pretty thin and i can see them snapping if caught on something strong.Awkward to move your fingers and use your hand when wearing. Expect to be one-handed during wear. The velcro around the wrist is awkward to attach with the rigid plastic. Also, it makes the fake clasps on the wrist look even more fake, as the pieces don’t fit together right.

This glove looks really cool but the fingers don’t pan out straight, they kind of bend in on eachother and makes operation kind of a pain. The index and middle finger are the crooked ones. It looks cool but my husband kept having to take it off to do anything with his hands. I went as Mrs. Kreuger and the glove I got with my costume was way cooler and seemed to be made better. Even my husband liked my glove better!! I wouldn’t recommend this glove.

I got this for my son for Halloween after we returned a similar glove purchased in-store that was total junk. This one was much better. The fingers move easily and the blades seem pretty safe, although you still need to be careful with them. The only problem is that the glove is a bit too large, even for my hand. In order to move the blades, you need to be able to stick your fingers into the tips of the glove, which was a strech. The cloth on the glove kind of prevents that so my son had to put his hand onto the cloth, not through it, to reach the tips. Well, at least it worked. Also, the straps could have been more flexible given that they too are a bit large.

I purchased this for my 11 year old grandson and the glue on the middle finger and the velcro closure on the wrist came loose the first day . The cloth used in making the glove is very thin and the color is light brown instead of gray , and it’s so big it couldn’t even fit The HULK (my grandson’s comment) . Several men in our family tried the glove on and it was too big for all of them. My grandson does not put his hand inside the glove but just puts his fingers in the “plastic” ring tip holders so he can move the blades independently.Used as a Halloween prop it would probably work well but if you want to be able to mimic Freddy’s moves you better have BIG MAN hands or controlling the fingers will be frustrating.Amazon’s shipping as usual was amazingly fast w/ Prime membership.

I purchased this item for my grandson for Halloween. He put the glove on and in no more than 3 minutes, two of the finger extensions fell off! Since the finger tip with the plastic finger blade was fastened to the glove with a grommet, once it detached it couldn’t be put back. I didn’t think it was forth returning so I fixed it myself. When the grommet came off it left a hole in the finger tip and another hole in the glove. So I used a metal fastener to put it back on – having the head of the fastener on the top of the finger, through the glove and spreading the ends inside. It even sort of matches the remaining grommets!

I have just got this glove today, and the glove is somewhat large for my hand but, that’s ok. I like the design of the glove and its little details which just brings it to life. In my opinion I would say this glove is comfortable for my hands and I would definitely recommend this to a friend because of its cool and playful design.

If I could I’d get a refund but I cut the tag off. Very cheaply made and WAY too big. One of the knives was heavily bent and only two joints smoothly move. If you have huge hands or as I’ll have to do now use it for display go ahead and buy it. I’m buying a new pair somewhere else

I love the glove and everything but I accidentally ripped the main part of the glove while trying to remove the tags in the palm to try it on so unfortunately I need to replace it
