The sleeves appear attached to the dress in the picture but they are open at the seam and I guess are supposed to be tucked in. This would not work for me since I am going to a Halloween party and will be moving my arms. I had to sew the sleeves even though I didn’t look so bad with the opening. It does not look unfinished just different from the picture which I prefer. I also wish I knew that the back was open at the top because I want to wear a bra so it will be very visible. Also the picture is photo-shopped so the dress will not fit all perfectly snug as the model appears… but after putting two petticoats underneath to give a poofy/bustle effect at the waist I liked it a lot better! The buckles in the middle of the dress can be tightened so it gave me a nice shape. The price is right so that’s why I was not so disappointed. Includes everything as described. VERY disappointed that I paid for overnight shipment and received it a day late.

gots tons of compliments!! smart adjustable features — both a tie in the back at the waist and both buckles on the front adjust to cinch in the waist. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I usually wear a size 6 dress. This (standard size) was roomy enough that I needed to cinch up a couple of areas with safety pins and use the buckles on the front and the tie in the back to get the shape to fit well to my body. (It took about 10 minutes and three safety pins.) 🙂 I would estimate that someone that normally wears anywhere from a 4 to a 10 could wear this size as long as they aren’t too busty — I am not — haha.Very pretty and comparable quality to what I’ve seen in the costume shops (Par Cty, SpirHall, etc.) for approximately $40.00 or so. Since I got mine for half the price, I feel that it was a great value and I will be able to wear this costume numerous times and vary the look by folding the collar up or down, wearing sheer/opaque/patterned tights, wigs, etc.NOT machine washable and you’ll need to be very careful when ironing because the burgundy fabric has black flocking that could melt if the iron is too hot. I pressed it with a medium setting with no issues.Great purchase! I would recommend…

By costume came on time and looked just as it did in the picture. The only thing is, the dress part is somewhat see through. Nothing that a pair of black shorts wont fix. Overall, I am pleased with my costume!!
