It does not pin to head. It comes with a cheap plastic headband that can’t even stay on your head and slides off. It will literally break if you try to bend this band. The hat has no shape and the middle part of the hat does not show above the rim as shown in picture. After hours and hours of trying to get the shape right, it ends up looking like you have a bowl sitting on your head. Not cute at all. It is flimsy and poorly made. A piece of paper folded up as a boat would have better form and look than this would. Image trying to shape a bowl shaped sheet on your head to look like a sailor hat. This is exactly what that is except with some gold rope on it. The lace is all bent up too and does not show nicely. The material is not cut properly and you can see that they just sewed it and cut off the excess material. It is definitely too expensive and advise everyone not to buy this. It is a waste of money and I regret it completely. Will be returning.

The hat itself is very cute, but it came so scrunched up and wrinkled that it didn’t even look like the same hat. It is impossible to iron because of the angle of the cap. I had to return it.

Not what really was described. What I mean by that is that it has a headband that is attached by two elastic bands that can slide off. I get they are giving you the option to wear it as a headband,but add that to the description. I’ll have to just deal with it, but I’m disappointed.Second, it’s a lot bigger than I thought which is kind of a good thing. Still flimsy and again I’ll work with it to make it better.

dont know about it fitting because i got it broken in the mail the head band was busted in 2 so i will be sending it back not worth the price and hat was so squashed it is bad
