Great quality and cute for the costume. It is an adult size with proper adjustment. My 12 yo daughter loved it and looked great. She has a (normal) small sized head, but needed the adjustor.

Fit OK, not great……. but I have a small head although it could’ve come down a little further to look more like her hair .

I received an XL size 18, thought i ordered an XL size 20. (I ordered up because of the reviews). WELL, I should have ordered WAYYYY larger!! This is like an XL in childrens sizes! I wear a large. I can get the jacket on but there is no way I can zip it up and its tight in the shoulders and a little shorter than I expected. Sits above my waste. The length of the arms is a good fit but the rest of it is ridiculously smaller than normal adult sizing. Too bad because it is a cute jacket and made well. Not quite $55 worth. Unfortunately, the party is tomorrow, I wish there was a way to get one shipped overnight. I would give it a ZERO for sizing but a FOUR quality (not a 5 because of the price).
